VISA APPROVED!

Let’s go direct to the point!

How did I get an approved visa?

I just got an approved Korean and Japanese Visa! So yes, I did and I will travel out of the country again for leisure/tourism.

So basically, I just submitted the complete requirements. What are those?

For Korean Tourist Visa (C-3-9), here are the requirements:

1. Passport (of course, ‘coz you can’t go overseas without passport) – should be valid for at least 6 months

2. Application Form (version Feb. 7, 2022) – should be A4 size

3. 1 pc passport size colored picture – actual size is 2×1.4in

4. Photocopy of passport bio-page (page 2)

5. Original & photocopy of visas and arrival stamps from travels for the past 5 years, if any

6. Original Certificate of Employment – must include applicant’s position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number (cellphone number not allowed) and HR email address

7. Original Personal Bank Certificate – must include account name, account type, current balance, account opening date, and 6 months average balance (ADB)

8. Bank Statement – original or certified true copy of bank statement or passbook for the last 3 months

9. Photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR) or Form 2316

10. Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card, if available

Visa Fee is free for application of 59 days below stay and P2,000 for 60 to 90 days stay in Korea.

As for my own profile and my friend who I went to Korea with, I will also share it with you because it may help to those who also want to apply.

We both also added a cover letter which is not really a requirement and just mostly presented when you lack or there’s a problem with your requirements. Both our cover letters mentioned that we are travelling with a friend, currently employed w/ annual salary rate, wants to travel again in SoKor requesting ME, and the 4 days itinerary.

And that’s it. We had submitted the requirements and just waited for the results online at this website Korean Visa Result then had it picked-up thru travel Agency.

Just to share with you also that walk ins for application are no longer allowed in Korean Embassy. If you will apply and submit requirements, you have to have an appointment through this link Korean Visa Requirements for Employed Individuals.

For more details, which helped me a lot, you can like the facebook pages Korean Embassy Philippines which they post updates like schedule of opening of alots for appointments or join the facebook group Korean Visa Update which we are super thankful especially when booking our appointment and completing our requirements.

That’s it for my Korean Visa!

Just comment down below if you want to know more. I would be happy to answer and help you so we can all enjoy travelling again and again. Hihi.

I will post the part 2 for my Japan visa approval!!! 🥰

XOXO, Nics
